Brother 1: Why do you keep embarrassing me?

Brother 2: How am I embarrassing you? 

Brother 1: By always saying I'm doing something when I am not! And you're lying!!

(Teacher continues to listen to see how this all works out...) 

Brother 2: I'm not lying!!

Brother 1: You shouldn't be disrespecting your brother!!

Having twins in my class was definitely an experience, especially when they get in arguments.  It's important to give children an opportunity to work through problems without immediate adult intervention.  Allow them to 'try out' the strategies you have taught them it is a part of their learning and growing process.
